The Lark Comedy Club runs monthly with Comedian & Resident M.C Fred Cooke (Tommy Tiernan show) who welcomes a different headline and support act each month to share the stage. This month’s headliner is Emma Doran with support from Steve Cummins.
Recently Emma Doran was part of the fab five that made up RTE sketch show No Worries If Not and the Amazon Prime TV show LOL: Last One Laughing with Graham Norton. Emma has performed at some of the country’s biggest venues like 3 Arena (and some of its smallest roughest ones too tbf). After sell-out shows in Liberty Hall in 2022 with her show Mad Isn’t It Emma. 2003 saw Emma’s first nationwide tour in Vicar Street and Soho Theatre, London.
As a regular on television series like Republic of Telly, Bridget and Eamonn and Callan Kicks over the years Emma has even popped up in Amazon Prime’s series Modern Love in 2022 alongside Kit Harrington.
She’s also been a regular TV and radio contributor on shows like Clear History and if audio is more your thing she has podcast – with her daughter called You’re Grounded. Not bad for a girl who had a baby during her Leaving Cert, eh?
Other reasons you might recognise Emma- The Late Late Show in 2022 when she told Ryan Tubridy about the silent ride. Celebrity Ireland’s fittest family when Glenda Gilson tried to drown her, Celebrity Gogglebox 2023.
2004- hold on tight because there’s a new, tour, Amazon Prime TV show and a book coming!
