Our Box Office booking is located in the lobby of The Lark Concert Hall.

€3.80 processing fee per ticket, €1 of this fee goes to the development of the campus.

The Lark Concert Hall is located at the Irish Institute of Music & Song on Church St. in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. We are only a 5 min walk from Balbriggan train station and a 35 min train ride straight to Dublin City Centre. What are you waiting for?

By Car

From Dublin

The Lark Concert Hall is accessible via the M50, continuing onto the M1, following signs for Airport/Belfast. Keep right to stay on the M1 heading North. Take exit 5 for Balbriggan.

 

From the North

Get on the A1. Take M1 to R122 in Fingal. Take exit 6 from M1. Continue on R122. Take Naul Rd and Clonard St to Church St in Balbriggan

From the Airport

Balbriggan is a 20 min drive and approximately 22 km from Dublin Airport. Take the M1 motorway north towards Belfast, take exit 5 for Balbriggan. Follow signs into Balbriggan town.

By Train

The Lark on Church St. is just a 5 min walk from the Balbriggan train station on Railway St. Balbriggan is easily accessible on the main Drogheda/Dundalk train line which departs from, and arrives to, Connolly Station in Dublin.

By bus

Bus Eireann
The 101 bus from Dublin travels to Balbriggan via Dublin City Centre, Drumcondra, Swords, Balrothery and surrounding areas.

By Plane

Balbriggan is a 20 min drive and approximately 22 km from Dublin Airport. Take the M1 motorway north towards Belfast,take exit 5 for Balbriggan. Follow signs into Balbriggan town.

TFI - Transport for Ireland

The 33 bus stops at the St. Peter’s & Paul’s Church in Balbriggan town. It departs from and arrives to Lower Abbey Street in Dublin City Centre.

Parking

Parking is available at the town car park which is located directly across from St. Peter’s & Paul’s Church in Balbriggan, which is within an 8 min walk. There is ample on street parking available throughout Balbriggan town and surrounding streets. Please note, pay and display parking is in effect Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., however this can vary, so please be sure to follow all street parking signs.

THE LA-LA CAFE & RESTAURANT

The La La Café & Restaurant is only a few steps away from The Lark which is conveniently located on Church St. in Balbriggan. The La La is the perfect place to meet friends for pre-shows, dinner and drinks. Enjoy a delicious cocktail, local craft beer, or enjoy some of our select wines before the show. THE LARK BAR

The Lark Bar is open 1 hour before every show. We serve a full range of beer and wine. The bar will also open during show intervals. The bar is located around to the left upon entering into the Lark building. Please note the bar is card only.

BEDFORD GUEST HOUSE

The Bracken Grill is a steak and seafood restaurant which serves fresh food, while the traditional Irish pub, Jack Doyle’s Bar, offers a bar food menu as well as a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.

CITYNORTH HOTEL

City North Hotel located just off Junction 7 on the M1, Dublin-Belfast route and 30 minutes from Dublin city. Rooms feature large beds, power showers, free Wi-Fi and satellite plasma-screen TVs. There is a 24-hour room service menu and interconnecting rooms are available for families, upon request.

The booking fee goes toward covering the administration costs that The Lark incurs in the process of selling tickets, such as credit card processing fees, bank charges, box office staffing and agent/administration fees. €1 of this fee goes to development.

No. All ages are welcome, however all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Child ticket: 3 years-15 years
Adult ticket: 16 years +

Children 2 years and under go free and must sit on the lap of a parent/guardian. Parents/Guardians must let the box office know about their baby on arrival. If a parent/guardian needs a separate seat for their baby they will be required to buy a ticket. All children aged 3 and above require a ticket to enjoy a show at The Lark. Buggies are not allowed in the auditorium, a member of our team will assist with storing your buggy.

The Lark is a fully accessible venue:

  • Four wheelchair accessible seats are available in our auditorium
  • If you require wheelchair access please call the Box Office to book on 01 690 4990
  • Double door access and set down area outside the main doors of the building.
  • Wheelchair accessible toilets
  • A lift giving full access to all levels of the building
  • The venue is fitted with an infra-red hearing loop system (prior notice is required for this service)
  • Guide dogs are welcome throughout the entire building

Yes, if you have chosen your seats to be together. In the event that there is very high-demand for a particular show, customers are not given the opportunity to choose their own seats.  In this instance, our ticketing software will choose the best available seats for you. On rare occasions when only single seats remain, you may be allocated single seats in different parts of the auditorium.  Although this does not happen very often, we ask customers to review your seating allocation prior to confirming your payment, as unfortunately refunds will not be given.

If an event is on at “The Square” in the Irish Institute of Music & Song seats will not be allocated together.

Yes, The Lark has a bar which is open an hour before the show.

Alternatively, the La La Café & Restaurant is open every day for pre-show and after-show food and drinks.

Yes, The Lark has free Wi-Fi for all guests.

If you have lost something, or left something behind, please contact the Box Office at 01 690 4990 or [email protected]. If anything has been found by staff after a show, it will be handed into the Box Office and kept for a period of one month, after this time items will be donated to charity.

No. The entire venue is a smoke and vape free campus.

As per the terms and conditions of The Lark all sales are final. Tickets will not be refunded unless the show is cancelled. If a show has a long run it might be possible to move your tickets to another date, once we receive at least 72 hours’ notice and there are seats available.

Filming and photography is not permitted in the auditorium or on balconies during a performance. Visitors at The Lark are welcome to take photographs or video whilst in the foyer area of the building.

Inevitably there will be items lost in the theatre. We will keep any item found for three weeks. Please contact reception at the Lark (01) 699 5400 to arrange for collection of items. 

After that period all items will be donated to local charities.

The venue is not liable for any items or property lost.

SEATING

The Lark Concert Hall consists of the ground floor (main auditorium), first floor (mezzanine seating on the left and right balcony) and second floor (rear stalls), and choir balcony. The ground floor seating is raised and the main stage is on the flat. Please note there are 4 wheelchair spaces available in the auditorium.

 

Officially become an exclusive part of our furniture by having an engraved plaque with customised text placed on the back of one of four hundred seats at The Lark Concert Hall. Your name / company / personal dedication will remain for the lifetime of the seat. Your personalised inscription (up to 260 characters) will be on display to be read by every audience that passes through The Lark for the lifetime of the seat.
